I think your proposed goals are excellent. To repeat them, edited:

1. *Goal*: Enable [anyone] to use Leo for creating and organizing
documents. After reading [the docs, the reader]:

- is familiar with the Leo terminology,
- is able to create, update, delete, load, save, import, and export
documents using Leo,
- is able use cloning and/or hoisting to improve her productivity.

Terminology is always a bitch to introduce smoothly. I'll say more about
this in another post.

2. *Goal:* Enable programmers at large to use Leo for creating and
organizing documents. After reading [the docs the reader]:

- is able to setup and use Leo as an development environment,
- manage programming projects using main computer languages,
- create and edit the documentation for such projects.

The first two points are not something I've seen as a separate goal. Maybe
they should be. Imo, the last item is separate, as it is in the present
docs.

3. *Goal:* Enable Leonistas to use Leo to adapt and optimize their
development environment and development through scripting using Python.

I would just say, teach people how to use Leo's API's, with tips.

Your suggestions have been valuable, and these goals are excellent. But
perhaps not exactly necessary, as I'll discus in another thread. Still,
these goals are firmly in my mind.
