That was also a user case I had most in the past. In fact, config files
were embedded between bigger narratives on the technology I was using.
So lighttpd.conf was inside a how to install your own webserver. I have
not the files with me know (I plan in the future to make a digital
archeology of myself and my communities using those digital artifacts).

have a number of Emacs config files structured as Leo outlines, each
file corresponding to a @clean branch.
One of these files is dedicated to packages. Settings for individual

reverberates to all other configurations using the same package.
Also, thanks to python scripting in Leo I can do things like printing
a table of all current key bindings used in my Emacs config, etc.
