Don't forget namespace you are in when entering commands in figwheel shell. 
Current namespace is displayed in prompt. For example initially prompt:
dev-front:cljs.user=>
says that you are inside cljs.user namespace. You need require 
leo-front.core namespace before you can use it.
(require '[leo-front.core])

And prompt should change to:
dev-front:leo-front.core=>

After that you can issue:
(get-leo-doc "path to any leo document")

and the document should be loaded. Maybe you will need to force update of 
application by clicking in tree to see new loaded document.
