I just updated my devel branch to the latest version, and now I do get your
behavior.

Leo 6.4-devel, devel branch, build b80354f543
2020-12-01 13:15:07 -0500
Python 3.8.5, PyQt version 5.15.1
Windows 10 AMD64 (build 10.0.19041) SP0

This behavior was present in build b80354f543. It was not present in build
d1bd39e14d
