A slight follow-up to this, might be a bit OT: How is the icon actually
stored and used in the Leo outline?

When I did the simple " insert-icon command | navivate to icon file |
select | see result" experiment I took a look inside the resulting outline.
I saw something like this:

<t tx="jkn.20230206091204.1"
icons="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">
... body of node

Which made me think "aha: some version of the icon is actually being stored
in the outline - great"

But then when I use leo on a different machine, with the icon file not
present, I don't see it in the node headline. So maybe that long "icons="
string is some sort of reference to the location of the icon file on disk??

puzzled...
