You can have the pieces anywhere you want, you just need to either add a
LEOCAD_LIB variable or run with the -l option. You can also change it in the
Preferences dialog and it will remember the location next time you run but I
don't think that dialog works on the Linux version.

  I'll look at the crash, the main reason for adding the Library Manager is
to import updates so I didn't check if the groups worked or not. I also
checked in a fix for the snap settings not work, I'll look at the other
issues you reported. Thanks for helping testing and reporting bugs!
