I do not think it would impact LessTif.  OpenMOTIF can be used only on
Open Source Operating systems like Linux and FreeBSD.  It would be a great
help
for Linux community but it does put a lot of restrictions on top of Open
Source
name.  I sent the following note to Open Group asking their view on Cygwin:
Their Open Source definitions is very vague and it not really open source,
let's
call it MOTIF open for LINUX and FreeBSD etc.  LessTif can be used for many
other
Operating Systems.
