I'm not aware of a small test program to feature it.
And at least I have no idea at which step within the
application it does happen (by now). Didn't we have
some frozen windows within NEdit some time ago (before
the mailinglist archive was created ...)?
Hmm, "slightly" off-topic but somehow related:
can one save data (or just output of "p") within
gdb?
