There is a fix in the works for the wacked resources, Unfortunately it is
causing a bunch of other problems to surface. The fewer "quick hacks" we have
to deal with later the better.

This may be the underlying cause of the nedit and ddd freeze, there is some
major corruption in the VendorShellExtension.....
