Are you not convinced a bug is surfacing here?

Of course a kill should perform a kill, but not as
I have described above. I've tested it with different
window managers and all show the same problem.
Moreover, this erroneous behaviour started with my
recent upload of LessTiff-CVS.

I'm just an end user, without much knowledge about
the internals of X and Motif/Lesstif. Maybe I should
leave it at this point and hope that the "experts"
can make sense of this thread so far.

If anymore testing/comments from my side is needed,
just let me know.
