Simply put the released Motif sources (even the less bugged ones from
Metrolink) do not run on ESIX-4.1-2. They compile but segfault. I have never
has such problems with Lesstif for me it has compiled "Out of the Box" since
0.88 no segfaults and virtually no grief. I suspect that he only reason that
the sources were released is that it was realised that they would miss the
boat with the move to GPL and :inux if they didn't. To be honest I see this
as a victory for Lesstif and GPL.

P.S. I don't know why you have the bit about Lesstif nearly working with
Netscape on my system it works fine.
