Hmm, well I messed around a bit.
The most convenient approach (for the developers) to resolving this would be
if someone would pick up the sources from CVS and would try to build again
on that platform.
0.91.8 is - as mentioned - outdated and will soon (this year - yeah!) be
replaced by a new version.
