Alternatively, applications that don't want the user to edit fields use
the method supplied in the FAQ:
How do I make a cell non-editable?
In the list example, it is not setting traversalOn to false that prevents
editing, it is the new translations. If you remove the translations from
the resource file but leave traversalOn set to false, you will be able to
get focus to a cell and enter text.
Now, regardless of the traversalOn setting, with the translations removed,
you can select text in a cell but it doesn't paste. As I said in my
previous post on the subject, XbaeMatrix does seem to be claiming the
selection, since if you have something else selected, then select something
in the matrix, the original selection goes away. But after that the matrix
doesn't do anything with it.
