The current status of our source as of CVS is known to be broken, at least partially. Some things don't link, e.g. apps against our 2.1 libXm since we need to link against -lXp -lXext now explicitly. Also the link dependencies when libs based on libXm are used may have changed (libXbae, libDt, etc.). This is nothing which should really hurt; in fact we only changed things to try out some weeks ago. (according to the auto* maintainers we are too stupid, have not sufficient experience, the related bugs won't fixed for whatever reasons, etc. So unfortunately we are "obviously" braindead to get things work out better ...) Once we have done all this we lack again any support for version checks in between the libraries but we are finally set to roll out a new major release! -- Alexander Mai [EMAIL PROTECTED]
