Hell all,

I am running Red Hat Linux 7.1 with Kernel 2.4.2-2 and
LessTif-0.92.32.
I installed the LessTif under /usr/local and copied
/usr/local/lib/X11/mwm/system.mwmrc to user home and also the Mwm file.
Everything worked well except two things:
        1. after popping up several xterms and working a while, closing an
xterm can cause x-server shutdown, which kills all applications and forces me
to the b/w single mode console. This happens from time to time. Then
I switched to gnome and now to fvwm2. The problem doesnot exist under
gnome or fvwm2.
        2. I found too much "resistance" (or too big jump) to move an
application (e.g., an xterm) out of the screen. This happened to LessTif and
fvwm2 long time ago. But under the current version of fvwm2 (2.xx, 2.2?),
the move is really smooth, which is like solaris now.

Can anyone give me a help on these? I would like to use LessTif as I coded
all my front-end applications in Motif.

Thanks,

Sun
