I asked on the automake list, let's see what they can tell
me.
For now I don't understand why that script is being called at all.
Isn't the related source mwmlex.c in our distribution?
Then there's no need to call it IMHO.
If it's for whatever reasons older than the .l try
touch'ing it and hope that the problem disappears for a while.
