Alexander already pointed you to RPM.
The RPMs are definitely what you want to use. They're created on a
SuSE Linux, by the way.
Do note additionally that 0.82 is very old, so the documentation
that you've been reading is probably out of date as well.
Check out the web site, the docs are there in their latest versions.
