I think it's statically link: that is, I think the programmer
put the libraries into the executable so that the user would
not have to have the Lesstif libraries install, but instead the
executable would have all the resources.   

Does this sound possible?

This program was created in late 1997 using Lesstif....can I assume
that there are some issues having it run with current Lesstif and with
Redhat 7.2?

Perhaps the functionality should be taken out of it and it should be
reprogrammed with a new resource library for X?
