Let me rephrase my question in hopes that I can get a reply this time.
Where can I find documentation for the LR error codes (like the error
-32004 below) with an explanation of what it means? (more of an
explanation than that provided in the log)

I am running LR3.0.7 on Mac OS 9 (yes, I need to upgrade). When sending to
comcast.net addresses, LR returns:
"ERROR!! the connection was prematurely closed (-32004)"
Eventually my bounced mail digest contains the following for all
comcast.net addresses:

I am a newbie to debugging LR problems. Can someone help me understand
what is going on here and what I can do about it?

I have checked with ORDB.org and my server is not an open relay. I have
also filed an inquiry with [EMAIL PROTECTED], but have not received a
reply.
