I have two separate servers with LR 4.06 on OS X 10.3.9. No OS
crashes or freezes in months of operation, despite occasional heavy
traffic.
LR Server does halt unexpectedly about once a month. I run another
task that auto restarts it, and that normally succeeds.
If I were having your problem, I would probably move LetterRip to
another server to see if that helped.
You could also log top output to disk every few seconds. That might
show you what process has run amok in your post mortem examination.

Has anyone had LetterRip 4.06 on OS X 10.3.9 cause random freeze-ups
of your server?
We have one server running LetterRip and a few other apps that is
having said occasional freeze-ups about once every 2 weeks. The
other apps are rock-solid AFAIK, which is why I'm suspecting
LetterRip to start.
