We've been running LetterRip for years without freezeups. In prior
versions, it would sometimes _quit_, which was annoying, but it never
froze the machine. We have a lot of lists, processing lots of mails
(yesterday's log file was 1.3 MB), so the machine is busy.
On the other hand, we have nothing else running on this machine, a
Power Mac G4/400.

We have one server running LetterRip and a few other apps that is
having said occasional freeze-ups about once every 2 weeks. The
other apps are rock-solid AFAIK, which is why I'm suspecting
LetterRip to start.
