FYI, Here is what is printed at the bottom of the daily statistics. -- Bounce Information --
You can copy and paste any of the following lines into an email administration message to unsubscribe the listed email addresses. -- Account unrecognized -- unsub "list name" [EMAIL PROTECTED] count = 1 unsub "list name" [EMAIL PROTECTED] count = 1 unsub "list name" [EMAIL PROTECTED] count = 1 Jeff -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Ameeti Sent: Thursday, February 01, 2007 10:50 AM To: LetterRip Discussion Subject: RE: Does LR 4 have better bounce capabilities over LR 3 ? Ok, now with that list I can at least manually do some database appends and perhaps easily do some analysis that will allow me to not remove names that are just bouncing for a few days. Perhaps there well be enough info that I can create a list of addresses that have bounced for over a week. At least this is better than v3 >It also will not tell you the difference between a hard bounce (user >does not exist) or a soft bounce (user is over quota). Dang. I'd like to think that this wouldn't be all that hard. I do see in the log indications that an email address is not real. But the problem I'm thinking is now the issue is that: How would I be able to easily remove the bad email addresses from any or all lists that it is included in? Or would I have to do this analysis on a list by list basis? Argh > These are features that I am desperately looking for.
