I've just now converted to LR v4 from v3 after many years of sitting
ok with v3 but the problems are not pretty.
Apparently all of the passwords have changed and I can't figure out
how to get the new passwords.
I've tried the old master password in the Subject with the command
'send passwords' in the body. - No luck.
I can log into the Server as an Admin. Is that the master Admin
password to be used via email to retrieve all passwords?
I saw in some other post something about using 'init' as a command
(in the body?) but what goes into the subject?
I've seen something about using the keyword 'all' as a method to
unsubscribe an email address from all lists. Where is this documented?
I have a users manual but no admin manual. Where do I find all the
secrets that I've long forgotten or never learned since it was a long
time ago that I read the v3 manual?
To start me off, how do I get all of the new passwords?
And one more thing, when I use the Lists in the Subject, I am only
getting a portion of the lists given back to me. Why and how do I fix
it?
By the way, to do the upgrade from v3 to v4, with the Server shut
down, I just dragged the Address Lists and Mail Lists folders from
the old place to the new place. Was there something more that I
should have done? I didn't really see anything about doing the
conversion.
