will it help this item that is waiting to be sent? ie. If an
address is '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' which should have been earthlink,
would correcting it in the Address Lists allow this to go out or is
this item destined to cycle through until it fails?
that technically should work, but I've never done it.
It does seem to work that an admin can correct items in the queue
after they've been attempted once already. :-)
On other 'Single entry item, not attached to list' that are
obviously wrong, will it hurt to delete these from the Outgoing
queue? I'm psychologically wanting to see that Outgoing queue get
emptied so as to get a feeling that all is working as it should.
When I see items that are in it for more than a day, it makes me
think that something is broken.
I would really rather people not do file manipulations in the file
system. Those items will take care of themselves over time. If you
see items that are more than 25 + 1 hours old in the queue, then
there is a problem that I need to look at.
I have no problem allowing the LRP to do whatever work it wants to do
for me. It is just really nice to know what the rules are and what
can or should be expected so that I can know when it is that I should
start to worry. Thanks for the insight as to when the items should be
viewed as 'overdue'.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.
