Further in that thread, no quick-fix release will happen. I'm unsure ATM but if the LFS book does not state that it targets x86 only, then I'd suggest a small mention of the solaris problem and a link to the solution. http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-cvs/2005-09/msg00984.html If the book does say x86 only, it's up to the Cross-LFS crew.
