Agreed. Same with the udev rules Alexander created (perhaps they
should be given a new date so they don't have the tiresome -try2 in
the name). I'd like to see the udev rules live in svn. This should be
fine as long as Alexander has commit privelages since he's the main
developer there. (Jim, I haven't forgotten about the shared project on
cross-lfs.org. I want to start working on that after we all get our
releases done.)

As far as generating from script, I would hope that a new tarball
would only be created if the bootscripts had changed. Is this how the
BLFS bootscripts work? I'm actually not familiar.
