#1866: Pointless warning when running "ifdown" for a manually-configured interface --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: task | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: 6.3 Component: Book | Version: SVN Severity: normal | Resolution: Keywords: | --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Comment (by [EMAIL PROTECTED]):
I don't want to suppress errors other than "ifconfig.eth0 is not a network configuration file or directory", that's why >/dev/null is not a solution. I will patch the script to skip the "ifdown" if the file doesn't exist. I patch it in other places anyway, for unrelated reasons. -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/ticket/1866> LFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/> Linux From Scratch: Your Distro, Your Rules. -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
