#1866: Pointless warning when running "ifdown" for a manually-configured interface --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: task | Status: new Priority: lowest | Milestone: 6.3 Component: Book | Version: SVN Severity: normal | Resolution: Keywords: | --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Comment (by [EMAIL PROTECTED]):
I don't know if this helps much, but maybe we can add a special --all parameter to ifdown. Then it can glob the UP devices and bring them all down. I'm not sure how that would be used since it collides with the stop cases of init.d/network and init.d/localnet. -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/ticket/1866#comment:9> LFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/> Linux From Scratch: Your Distro, Your Rules. -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
