  I'm ambivalent about that, at least until we come to a release, but I
 don't have strong feelings either way (and I haven't yet built gcc-4.3).
 I suppose if it goes in it can always come out when it no longer applies.

  But this one leaves me puzzled - isn't this why we create /usr/{man,info}
 as symlinks ? That certainly seems to mitigate the problem on a lot of
 packages, both in LFS and later.
