In several cases, comments indicate the need for patches or seds to work
around problems in the packages, but packages have changed. The need for
these patches and seds should be revalidated before the next release:
* 5.10. GCC-4.4.0 - Pass 2
* 5.12. Expect-5.43.0
* 5.21. Gawk-3.1.6
* 5.24. Gzip-1.3.12
* 5.27. Patch-2.5.9
* 5.28. Perl-5.10.0
