mutilated misquotes
from Robert Connolly's 4 Jun 2005 classic prose
may follow:

[...]

" Another commonly misused word is "freedom". The dictionary describes freedom
" as a condition of being unrestricted, independent, and free of restraints.

A dictionary is rarely more than a historical record of the ways in
which words (concepts) have been misused. Very occasionally, a
dictionary can be a good place to start. With respect, imo, what you
are trying to do requires rigorous formal definitions of at least the
relevant key concepts including freedom, security, fascism, and
others. Before you can get there, you will, I think, find it
necessary to also define such things as property and ownership.

"Gold needs no endorsement, it can be tested with scales and
acids. The recipient of gold does not have to trust the government
stamp upon it, if he does not trust the government that stamped it.
No act of faith is called for when gold is used in payments, and
no compulsion is required." -Benjamin M. Anderson
