I bought last summer an external usb case for 3.5 hard disks and one western digital 80 GB for 110 Euro,60 or 70 less from a regular external drive with the same capacity. But the last time i checked,actually it was the other day as i m looking for to buy a new laptop,the difference between those 2,had dropped to 20 euros. The combination,external case and the *same* drive i bought last summer,costs now 70 Euro,when an external WD 80 GB has 90. The external case is back compatible with usb1 in case you have an old laptop with usb1 port. The only thing that bothers me is the little noice that comes from the fun :) comparable to the fujitsu centrino which produse noice close to nothing. Btw and for the shake of discussion,its unbeleivable what these little proccesors (Pentium M) can do.I finished in that machine 3 LFS builts,the last one with X and firefox it took me 12 hours,and i had to compile firefox twice,without even stress the laptop a bit.
