Well, just after sending the last mail in this thread, I got a call that my
memory was in! So I ran down, though the car would have been faster (-; and
picked up the rest of my Dual Opteron box! I've now put it together and am
trying the Ubunto64 LiveCD on it, but it only gets as far as the brown
background )-: so I'm trying the expert mode to see where the problem lies.
But at least it's booting.
I'll keep you all posted RE: my progress.
