Well, I tried the KnoppixDVD and it worked fine, so I put my old LFS/BLFS
hard drive in and it boots! I did need to change the X config and there are
many things need fixing, but at least I'm back on my old system.

As a test, even though I'm still running 32bit, I used POV-Ray to generate a
100 frame animation of an X-Wing fighter. This took several hours on my
PIII, but only took 5 1/2 minutes! Can't wait to see what 64 bit brings!
