 Thanks for your fast reply !

 Despite the fact of loosing too much time (and nerves :) it would be
 interesting to figure out a way to do an update of gcc,glibc,binutils
 and the linux kernel header file logically correct.

 Will see...may be some contemplation and meditation... ;O)))

 By the way: Thank you for directly answering my "second stage
 question".... ("make bootstrap information", hahaha! :O))) but is
 this the correct mailing-list for such kind of questions? Or should I
 better subscribe to another lfs-*-mailinglist ?
