Uh, that hurds :-)
so setting up a crosstoolchain to compile hurd and some basic software
to build the rest of the system?
I suppose when you are that far that you have a hurd kernel and glibc +
gcc + [add needed tools here] it would be (almost) like "any" other lfs.
The tricky part is getting that far ;-)

No I don't plan to do it in the near future ... one moment please ...

hm ... weeeel ... may be in a few years ... it is intresting yes and
much of the lfs / blfs can be adopted ... but I would not count on
nVidia or ATI to provide driver for their devices ...
