At least for the older ones, I'm using Sigil (
http://code.google.com/p/sigil ) to import the HTML files, then adding the
metadata, TOC, etc. to have it conform to standards. If the same method
works for the current way of packing the HTML, then while it wouldn't be
current with SVN, you would have an epub for general release.

As soon as I finish what I'm currently working on, I'll try it on 7.3.
