Dear list: We have written a program in Qt creator in slackware12. It is a viewer for an archaic DOS CAD program that has largely expired. Our motivation was that we have an enormous number of electronic circuit diagrams written in this program, SCHEDIT. We did not do a rip but a file hack. I am not sure of the legal subtelties.
There are some problems compiling it on other distros such as Mandriva that demands kde-config. We would like to release the software under GPL in a way that would make it convenient for people to access and with makefiles that worked. We have already published Windows binaries using Borland libraries. Can somebody offer advice?
