Not exactly a BLFS-specific support request, that's why I'm posting in the
lfs-chat list.
This may be a silly question: in my host distribution (Arch Linux) I can push
the power button, and the machine would shut down. I would like to have the
same functionality in BLFS. How do I get to this? Is this something that needs
to be configured in the kernel, or is that a particular package that's needed?
