Actually at this momment we are using an XSL hack to can read the book 
linearlly following the "boot" method or the "chroot" method. See, for 
example:

That hack could be used to choose the "croos-tools" method or the 
"native-tools"  method (current trunk chapter5) if it's 
needed/required/wanted, allowing us to have both ways in one book and 
allowing to the users to read the book linearlly based on their choosen build 
way.
