Probably not gonna be merged. Linus doesn't plan on making any header
useable by userspace. I don't quite understand his whole point. It
seems like he's allergic or something, thinking that if the headers
are cleaned up, apps will start using them. Anyway, he doesn't seem to
care too much for the "do-it-yourself" approach, instead arguing that
distros should take care of all the header stuff. Oh well, some
userspace apps do need intimate kernel knowledge, there's no way
around it for now. Linus should at least find some middle way to get
glibc to build without relying on distros hacking the headers
themselves, each one in a different fashion. Users shouldn't have to
suffer for some extreme ideology. Gah, my 2c
