Jim,

I took a look at the page and am having a bit of difficulty in determining how 
it applies.  AFAICT, we are not using the CLFS document either modified or 
unmodified.  We are incorporating the ideas, but not 'modified versions of 
documents covered by this license'.

In academia, the accepted method of using other authors' ideas is to just 
create 
a bibliographic entry.  In BLFS, the first section of the Introduction is 
Acknowledgments, but there is no similar section in LFS.  Perhaps a similar 
section should be added to the LFS Preface.

Would this be a reasonable solution in your view?
