Thanks for your input Andy, but I didn't even try. I ran jhalfs and glibc was built without a hitch. The only thing I can think of that I was doing wrong was not deleting the old version glibc-2.12.1-makefile_fix-1.patch because jhalfs can cache sources. Anyway, the jhalfs build is doing fine. --Troy
