consider myself in the ol fashion category. All of my news & updates comes in the form of email for the most part. Other then that, have a list of bookmarked sites I open up in tabs via Firefox. I usually have access to email though (Gmail, so as long as I have a browser), and I know there have been some major shifts in how people communicate over the internet the last decade or so... but forums always felt like 2nd class citizens to email for me.
