As far as I can tell, there is still a normal Makefile there. I haven't
tested it though. Almost none of the platforms that zlib supports
(nintendods, msdos, palm, etc.) support CMake.

I am a bit uncertain why the currency scripts identified zlib 1.2.9.
The script fails now, perhaps due to a change in the website (changed
    yesterday).

Hopefully the normal zlib-version package will still end up on
zlib.net <http://zlib.net> so it wouldn't make for a major change for
jhalfs. At a minimum, we can host a copy on anduin if that doe not occur.

For a short period of time, zlib was available here:

http://www.zlib.net/zlib-1.2.9.tar.gz

However, it does not appear that that is the case anymore. It seems to
have been removed, giving a 404 error when trying to download it. hpg in
IRC gave DJ and I that link in #lfs. There isn't a zlib IRC channel for me
to message either.

I got it via a browser on github.

The ./configure does work. I just got a bit excited when the first file in the tarball is CMakeLists.txt.

I did try a quick build of jhalfs with cmake, but it failed. A quick look at the logs did not say why it failed.
