Hi, In LFS, the pages titles "Stripping" and "Stripping again" contain general clean up instructions (like removing doc, info in /tools, and removing .la files). Also, the justification is only to save space on disk , while removing .la files also prevents some nasty behavior of libtool associated with meson (and does not save so much space)...
So instead of "Remove unneeded files", I propose: "While we are at it, it is good to also remove the libtool files (with extension .la), which may lead to difficulties when updating some packages, and are not needed:" And Instead of "Stripping" in the title, I'd put "Cleaning Up".
