Just started to build own "distro" guided by this book, and found a
possible typo.
This page:

states that "configure" script for binutils must be called with
"--with-sysroot=$LFS". However if you look at "configure --help" there
is no such argument. Instead, there is "--with-build-sysroot". So is
this argument should be used instead?
