Sorted - in my scripted builds I normally pass CFLAGS of "-O2
-march=native" to avoid useless (to me) debugging symbols.  The nine
failing tests look for various things re DWARF in the debug info.
So for that package I'm now adding -g to my CFLAGS.

Is there any particular reason you don't just strip everything at the end of Chapter 6?
