Seems a much better separation of the "introductory" and the
"practical" material.

Still prefer this one with a "Temporary" added, so

7. Entering Chroot and Building Additional Temporary Tools

so as to reinforce the "Temporary" nature.

Also suggest that

7.17. Finishing Temporary Tools

reads as more of a

7.17 Cleaning up and Saving the Temporary Tools environment

or perhaps,

7.17 Cleaning up and Saving the Chroot environment

than a "finishing"

Given your note in another thread, as to the Chroot files being overwritten,
it might be worth making the one final note, reminding people that once
they start using the Chroot to build the LFS system, it's no longer the Chroot
that they started Chapter 8 with, into a Note box in its own right

And there's a typo in the current reminder:

Unfortunatly, all the temporary tools will be removed, too.

it's missing the "e" from  Unfortunately,
