Don't quite see what you mean, but what I try to do, is to record all
the steps in a big file, with comments in shell-script style, so that on
later attempts I can paste in large chunks of commands... Unfortunately
I still have some comments a la "edit this and that file" interspersed.
Must get better at sed'ing...
